Strolling blind on a landmine

Got down with a bottle of Jack
I see, i can not see
Think my soul's gonna crack
A broken world moving about thee

In times of tergiversation
In whiles of introspection
I jumble up my mind and soul
They're melting, no longer part of the same whole

When eyes bleed and the blood still lacks colour
Pain screeches in your ears
A blow I won't last another
Those papers into shreds I tear
Those people's weirded jargon I hear

Walking about aimlessly
Not all those who wander are lost
Feigning about mercilessly
Cold from within as frost

When paths of life are shaped to a fork
Got to decide which way from here
This is where I got to be
A distorted dream lies somewhere
The path ahead is fogged
Strolling blind on a landmine
Waiting for the mighty sun to shine!

Can take it no longer
Have got to carry on
Another wasted life
Another forgotten song
This is what I can't be
This nobody can deny
Have got to do something
This really is the high tide.
